entitlements. When the Medi-Cal Eligibility Worker determines there are possible CA State Unemployment Insurances

granted.
EDD's
Unemployment Insurance program provides assistance to people who have lost their job through no fault of their own.
When you are unemployed, or working less than full time, and are ready, willing, and able to work, you may be eligible to
receive (UIB) unemployment insurance benefits.
EDD's
Disability Insurance programs provide assistance to people who are unable to work because of sickness, injury, or pregnancy.
(SDI) is a partial wage-replacement insurance plan for California workers. The SDI program is State-mandated,
and funded through employee payroll deductions. SDI provides affordable, short-term benefits to eligible workers who suffer
a loss of wages when they are unable to work due to a NON WORK-RELATED illness or injury, or a medically disabling condition
from pregnancy or childbirth.
